Who We Are





OCFP-Mayan Zone was formed in 1986 to support cooperatives that handle forest products and to promote the sustainable use of natural resources.

Located in the Mayan forest of the state of Quintana Roo in the municipality of Felipe Carrillo Puerto in Mexico, OCFP has 37 years of experience in forest management. 3000 families are organized into 20 cooperatives that manage 287, 472 hectares of land, of which 184,750 hectares are designated as permanent forest land.
